The film opens with a group of college students—Alex (Janet Montgomery), Brent, Sophie, and Trey—on a rafting trip in the West Virginia backcountry. Their trip turns into a nightmare when they are hunted down by the cannibalistic mutant, Three Finger, who kills everyone except Alex.
