Released in 2009 and directed by the acclaimed filmmaker , Billu Barber (later retitled Billu ) is a Hindi-language comedy-drama that has carved a unique niche in Bollywood history. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and distributed by Eros International, the film stars the late Irrfan Khan in the titular role, alongside the iconic Shah Rukh Khan and former Miss Universe Lara Dutta . With a runtime of approximately 137 minutes, the film was a remake of the 2007 Malayalam blockbuster Kadha Parayumbol .

In what many consider one of his most grounded roles, Irrfan Khan plays Billas Rao "Billu" Pardesi. His performance as a poverty-stricken but dignified barber is the emotional anchor of the film, capturing the quiet embarrassment and pride of a man who doesn't want to exploit his past connections.

While it did not rewrite box office records upon its release, it remains at the top of many film enthusiasts' lists as one of the most underrated and heartwarming movies in modern Bollywood history. The Unforgettable Core Cast
