The world generated in chunky, obvious squares. The terrain rolled out like a carpet being unrolled — oak trees, brown mushrooms, clay deposits exposed in riverbanks. The sky was that particular shade of blue that only existed in Alpha. Slightly darker. Slightly more saturated. Like someone had turned the color up just a notch too high.
It represents a stable, late Alpha build just before the massive Halloween Update that added pumpkins, hell biome, fishing, and powered rails.
