: To preserve her independence, she has no choice but to explore the dangerous, ever-changing dungeons flanking the edge of town, gambling her life for rare treasures while taking desperate, high-risk side jobs to stay afloat. Gameplay Mechanics & Dynamic Systems
Following her forced contract, the "Blessing of the God of Commerce" prevents anyone in the town from assisting a known thief and contract-breaker. Consequently, Grace is barred from all town services. She cannot rest at the inn, buy supplies, or sell her loot to merchants. This clever worldbuilding forces the player to rely on a seedy, run-down flophouse run by a former family servant, and a cast of eccentric, low-level adventurers unable to succeed in the labyrinth themselves. This stark setting transforms every strategic decision into a fight for survival against a hostile and unforgiving world.
Caught red-handed, Grace is forced into a humiliating contract: she must repay the massive debt (a sum of 5 million gold) that her years of thievery have allegedly cost the guild. If she fails, she will become the guild master's personal slave and property forever. This high-stakes premise—"a single coin can break a hero"—is the core engine of the game's tension. Grace’s fight is no longer just for revenge but for her very soul and future.
